Winner of Monday’s Lafayette (L) in his stakes debut, Starlight Racing and Harrell Ventures’ Colloquial came out of the performance in good order and will remain at Keeneland for a bit.

“He will stay there for the next couple of days,” trainer George Weaver said via text from his South Florida base at Palm Beach Downs.

“We will nominate and consider the Pat Day Mile (G2) but more likely focus on the Woody Stephens (G1),” Weaver said.

The $600,000 Pat Day Mile is scheduled for May 3 at Churchill Downs with the Woody Stephens coming five weeks later at Saratoga.
