Keeneland Representatives to Compete Wednesday at Royal Ascot

Race 1: Queen Mary (G2), 2-year-old fillies, 5 furlongs at 9:30 a.m. 

  • Lennilu won her career debut at Keeneland on April 6 and took the May 10 Royal Palm Juvenile Fillies Stakes at Gulfstream Park. She is trained by Patrick Biancone. 
  • Paris Carver (Bolt d’Oro-Orquidias Biz) was consigned by Machmer Hall Sales, agent for breeder Machmer Hall, to the 2024 September Yearling Sale, where she sold for $100,000 to RiceHorse Future Star. She races for Amo Racing Ltd. 

Race 3: Duke of Cambridge (G2), 4-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, 1 mile at 10:40 a.m. 

  • Soprano (IRE) was second in Keeneland’s Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup (G1) Presented by Dixiana in October. 

Race 5: Royal Hunt Cup, 3-year-olds and up, 1 mile at noon. 

  • Greek Order (GB) (Kingman-Trojan Queen) sold to Fergus Galvin, agent, for $100,000 at Keeneland’s 2025 April Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale, where he was consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent for Juddmonte. 

Race 7: Windsor Castle (L), 2-year-olds, 5 furlongs at 1:10 p.m. 

  • Tough Critic (Caravaggio-Thatchit [IRE]) won his career debut at Keeneland on April 24 and a day later sold for $350,000 at Keeneland’s April Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale. He was the third highest-price horse at the auction. He was bred by Delehanty Stock Farm. George Weaver trains. 
  • Wyle Cop (Omaha Beach-True Egyptian) sold to T R Farms for $26,000 at the 2024 September Yearling Sale. Bred by Mr. and Mrs. William L. Pape, he was consigned by Royal Oak Farm (Damian and Braxton Lynch), agent.
